グランプリ・シーンに特化した“Racing Pictorial Series by HIRO”の第49弾は、前号に引き続いて1972年にフォーカス。 JPSカラーに衣替えした改良型タイプ72D駆るエマーソン・フィッティパルディを迎え撃つ筆頭は、前年王者ジャッキー・スチュワートとタイレル。彼らを始めとするライバル達の闘いぶりを振り返ります。
前号のパート1では、ロータス、マクラーレン、サーティース、BRM、マトラ、テクノの各チームを収録致しましたので、今号パート２では、タイレル、フェラーリ、マーチ、ブラバム、ポリトーイズ（ウィリアムズ）、アイフェラント、コンニューの各チームを収録致します。
タイレルに関しては、既刊で特集しておりますが、未使用の写真を織り交ぜながら、シーズン全体が俯瞰できるようダイジェスト的にまとめました。
他のチーム、マシーンに関する写真は、パイロット・シリーズ既刊に収めたロニー・ピーターソンのSTPマーチ以外は、全て当シリーズ初出のものとなります。今回も細部の構造が解りやすいモノクロのディテール写真が多く、各チーム共に模型づくりの資料性の観点から充実した内容となる予定です。
エマーソンの勢いを食い止めようと追いすがるスチュワートとセヴェール、彼らが駆る新型タイレル005と006、そして速さでは折り紙付きのジャッキー・イクスを擁し、安定感を欠きながらも魅力的なデヴェロップメントを見せつけるフェラーリ312B2など、見どころは尽きません。

■JOE HONDA Racing Pictorial Series by HIRO No.49 "Grand Prix 1972 PART-02"
The issue No. 49 of the "Racing Pictorial Series by HIRO" will be continuing features the 1972 Grand Prix. We will review the marvelous races, starting from the most powerful rival of Emerson Fittipaldi the young champion, Jacky Stewart and Tyrrell.
We have reviewed teams like Lotus, McLaren, Surtees, BRM, Matra, Techno in the previous part, this Part-02 issue will be focusing teams including Tyrrell, Ferrari, March, Brabham, PolyToys (Williams), Eifelland, Connew and etc.
For the Tyrrells, we will choose unpublished photos as many as possible, as the machine already featured in separated issues.
For the other teams and machines, all images will be using unpublished photos except Ronnie Peterson's STP March, as they were published in the pilot series before. the monochrome pictures will be presented in tremendous amount of details. This will be one of the best informative issues.
Steward and Cévert were driving their Tyrrell 005 and 006, tried to hunt down the leading Emerson. Then the Jackie Ickx with his speed accepted from the world, and his not-so-stable Ferrari 312B2 with the interesting development, and much more to be seen!
