[ BT52Bについて -About the BT52B- ]
■F1でのグラウンド・エフェクトカーが禁止となった1982年11月。翌年に向けてデザイナーのゴードン・マレーの手により3ヶ月という短い設計期間で作られたマシンは、”アローシェイプ”と呼ばれる特徴ある外観を持つマシン、BT52としてグランプリデビューしました。そして迎えた1983年F1シーズン、このBT52をドライヴするネルソン・ピケが、ルノーを駆るアラン・プロストとの一騎打ちの末、2度目のワールドチャンピオンを獲得します。BT52の後期型であるBT52Bは、1983年シーズン途中のイギリスGPよりBT52の改良マシンとして投入され、ピケが2勝しチャンピオン獲得に貢献しました。
- November 1982: Ground effect cars were banned in F1. Designed by Gordon Murray in just three months for the following season, the machine debuted in Grand Prix racing as the BT52, featuring a distinctive “arrow-shaped” appearance. Then came the 1983 F1 season. Driving this BT52, Nelson Piquet secured his second World Championship after a fierce duel with Alain Prost in his Renault. The BT52B, an improved version of the BT52 introduced mid-season at the British GP, contributed to Piquet's championship win with two victories.

■モノコック等に見られるカーボン模様を再現する為にカーボンデカールも同梱。

- The cowl is removable, allowing the internal structure to be viewed even after assembly.

・European GPではN.ピケが、最終戦South African GPではR.パトレーゼがそれぞれ優勝を飾った仕様をモデル化。
・また、1983年シーズン後、F1デビュー前のA.セナがポールリカールにて行ったテストドライブのバージョンも製作できます。フロントウイングのフラップが大型化し、フロントブレーキダクトが撤去された仕様です。
- Models the specification that secured victory for N. Piquet at the European GP and for R. Patrese at the season-ending South African GP.
- Additionally, a version based on the test drive performed by A. Senna at Paul Ricard after the 1983 season, prior to his F1 debut, can be produced. This specification features enlarged front wing flaps and the removal of the front brake ducts.
