■1969年、名門チームから参戦したプロトタイプレーシングカー、917。FIA国際メーカー選手権のグループ4規格に合わせわずか10か月で開発、ホモロゲーション取得のために25台のクローズドボディのマシンが生産・市販されました。
69年のサルテ24時間レースにはストレートの長いサルテ・サーキットに合わせリアオーバーハングを490mm延長した917LHが登場。翌70年にはエンジンを4,907ccにパワーアップ、リアウィングを装着するなどの改良が盛り込まれました。
■モデルは70年のサルテ24時間レースを席巻、マルティニ・レーシングからエントリーしたシャシーナンバー”917-043″のNo.3とワークスからエントリーしたシャシーナンバー”917-042″のNo.25をラインナップ。ビッグスケール、フルディテールの1/12スケールキットとしてモデル化しました。
■4.9リッターエンジンはもちろん、コクピットやサスペンションといった各部のディテールをホワイトメタル、ウレタン樹脂、金属挽き物、エッチングパーツ、塩ビバキューム、ゴムタイヤ、シルクスクリーンデカール、各種コード類といったマルチ・マテリアルを使用して再現しました。フォーミュラマシンとは異なる文法で設計され、70年代当時の最先端を誇ったメカニズムを存分に味わい尽くすことのできる一台です。
■リアカウル、左右ドアは開閉可動式。フロントボンネットハッチも取り外し可能で内部構造を見ることができます。
■フロントライトライトレンズは実車のレンズカットのモールドも忠実に再現し、透明度の高い特殊な高品質透明レジンを使用。タイヤハウス等の部分もFRP色に加工された半透明レジンパーツで再現。
■各種パイピングを束ねるケーブルタイは3Dプリンタ光造形樹脂製パーツを同梱。

- The 917, from the famous racing team has debuted in 1969. The development was done in just 10 months, and in order to get the homologation from FIA to race in Group 4, 25 closed body cars was manufactured and sold.
In the 1969 24-hour endurance race held in Circuit de la Sarthe, the 917 had been modified to fit the long and straight circuit, the rear overhang was extended by 490mm, and the car was named 917LH. In next year (1970) race, the car was even more powerful with the 4,907cd engine and a rear wing was installed.
- The 1/12 scale full detail kit is based on the ’70 24-hour endurance race model, from the Martini Racing team with chassis number”917-043″ and car number 3, and the chassis number “917-042” with the car number 25 from Works.
- The designs and details which are different from formula machine all the best and most advanced technology in the ’70, inlcuding the 4.9-litre engine, the cockpit and suspensions, etc. will be made of white metal, polyurethane, metal alloy, photo etch, plastic cords to form this multi-meterial kit.
- The rear cowl, and the both doors are movable. The front bonnet hatch are detachable, letting you to see the interior structures.
- The front and rear light lens are using the scaled mold from the real cars and using special high transparency resin to form the most realistic light lens. The tyre house is using FRP colouring half transparent resin.
- The tide of pipings are made using 3D printing technologies.

●K437 - Ver.A : 1970 Sarthe 24hours race #25 V.Elford / K.Ahrens jr.
・ヴィク・エルフォードとクルト・アーレンスjr.のコンビで出場したザルツブルグ・チームの純白のマシン。プラクティスでのベストタイム３分19秒８をマーク、レース開始1時間目にはトップを快走するも徐々にドロップし、４位を走行中の17時間目にその年の24時間レースを終えました。
- The white machine driven by the Vic Elford and Kurt Ahrens Jr. tag from the Salzburg Team. They made the best time 3′ 19.8″ in the practice, and the best speed in the first hour of the race, and ended this year’s race in the 17th hour while it was running at the 4th position.


●K438 - Ver.B : 1970 Sarthe 24hours race #3 G.Larrousse / W.Kauhsen
・ジェラール・ラルースとウィリー・カウーゼンのコンビでマルティニ・レーシングから出場した通称”サイケデリック”と呼ばれる独創的なカラーリングの１台。平均速度189.24km/hで24時間を走破し総合２位の成績を収めました。
- This version was driven by Gérard Larrousse and Willi Kauhsen tag from the Martini Racing Team. The colouring was so unique and was called “psychedelic”. They finished the race at 2nd position and with the average speed of 189.24km/h.
